Livadhe Beach Claimed

Livadhe Beach is one of the nicest beaches on the Albanian Riviera. It is not overly developed and still has a quaintness about it with a few cabana style beach bars and a couple of hotels and restaurants overlooking the beautiful water.

The road along the beach is dusty so don’t expect pristine surroundings.

The beach is fairly steep and if you have children swim at the ends of the beach where it is shallower and calmer.

It’s not too crowded considering we were there in August although I recommend you pay for parking and don’t park on the beach because large numbers of inconsiderate people were blocking cars and there is no way you’ll get out until they return.

You can walk along the beach and over the hill for a couple of kilometres and you’ll arrive at Himare Beach.
